Nothing at Glyndebourne

In February 2016, James will performing the role of Johan in the world premiere of David Bruce's new opera Nothing at Glyndebourne.

Directed by Bijan Sheibani and conducted by Sian Edwards, the opera is based on the award-winning novel by Danish author Janne Teller. Nothing (which is co-commissioned by Glyndebourne Productions Limited and Royal Opera House Covent Garden Foundation) tells the haunting story of a group of teenagers trying to convince their classmates that life has meaning.

Performances take place 25-27 February 2016 on the main stage at Glyndebourne, alongside members of Glyndebourne Youth Opera aged 14-19.
